More than 12 students of a coaching institute in Jaipur fell ill due to
gas leakage from AC on Sunday evening. The students started feeling nervous and
fainted due to the strong smell of the gas during the class.
On Sunday evening around 6:45 pm, while students were studying in the
coaching centre, a strange smell suddenly spread. The smell was so strong that
the students started having trouble breathing. Some students started feeling
dizzy. The situation became worse because the windows in the coaching class
were closed.
The coaching management immediately called an ambulance and took the
affected students to the hospital. Doctors say that no one suffered serious
damage due to timely treatment .

Sharma said that there has been no incident like gas pipeline or short circuit
in the coaching center building. Police is investigating what was the source of
the foul smell. Police and administration have started inspecting the coaching
center after the incident. Also, students and their families have been assured
of all possible help.
During preliminary interrogation, the
students
said that while they were studying, they suddenly
smelled a foul odour due to which they had trouble breathing and fell
unconscious.
